This is a great advertising tin for "Sexton Pure Spice - John Sexton & Co. - National Wholesale Grocers - Chicago, Ill" with the words "Ground Jamaica Allspice" stamped on one side.  The tin measures 6" in height to the top of the original screw on lid by 3 1/2" square.  The tin is in excellent condition with very minor wear.  A great display piece.
