This is a very simple and lovely wood nailed construction utensil box with great turned handle. The box measures 4 ¼” in height by 13 1/2" in length by 9 3/4” in depth. The caddy has great color and remnants of the original finish. The wood appears to be either oak or ash. A couple of very small splits in the bottom. This is just a very attractive primitive utensil carrier.
