This is a very nice blue and gray stoneware crock with the blue stenciling for 'G. A. & J.E. McCarthey - Maysville, KY". The crock measures 10" in height by 6 3/4" in diameter at the widest. I believe this is either a 1 gallon or 1 1/2 gallon. Overall condition is excellent - interesting glazing in the firing. A very sought after piece of Kentucky advertising stoneware.
