This is a wonderful brown glaze stoneware batter jug with wire and wood handle. The jug measures 9 1/2" in height by approximately 8" in diameter at the widest part. The jug has wonderful shape and color with a '4' stamped on one side. The stoneware is in excllent condition with no chips or cracks - slight wear to the glaze in a couple of spots around the base. A great antique batter jug.
