This is a great wood dovetailed box with original hinged type lid.  The box is marked on the top and inside of the lid and both ends "American Flag Brand - 10 LBS Net - Trade Mark - Extra Fancy Quality - Manufactured By The Hills Bros. Co. New York, U.S.A - Preserved with Granulated Sugar and Corn Syrup - Candied Peels".  The front is marked "Exceptionally Fine Flavored & Specially Preserved With Granulated Sugar and Corn Syrup For the American Trade By The Hills Bros. Com'y New York, U.S.A". It is also lightly stamped on the lid "H. C. Keeley & Son - Ashland, O".  The box measures 13" in length by 4 3/4" in height by 10" in width.  Condition is very good with some fading to the text on the lid and a hole in the bottom.
